WHAT IS THE ISSUE/ PROBLEM?
Bullying against young teens to the point that they feel they have no voice.
WHERE IS THE PROBLEM HAPPENING?
Online, on websites, on the bus, at school, at the mall; bullying happens any where where teens congregate and are given the opportunity to attack each other.
WHO IS AFFECTED BY THE PROBLEM?
Bully victims, bullies, teachers, the bully victims' friends, bully victims' family, and by standers. Every one is affected by bullying, even if you are just a by stander.
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROBLEM?
Administrators are often partially responsible as they do not end the bullying when it is reported. Most times, when bullying is reported, they file it away and nothing happens, allowing the bully to continue to torment their victims.
Bystanders are responsible as well. They do not do anything to stop the bullying and instead they let it continue.
The bullies are responsible them selves simply by causing emotional and physical torment to their victims. They can even cause their victims to self harm, commit suicide or drop out of school.
The bullies' parents are responsible for allowing their child's behavior to continue and for not teaching them their behavior is NOT acceptable.
WHY DOES THE PROBLEM EXIST?
There are so many reasons why bullying exist, the main reason being that bullies find it 'okay' to harass people they do not like or find something they dislike about people.
The bully's personal story and history also have an effect on creating the bullying.
